What is a HatHair Combo?

A HatHair Combo has 3 items. 1x 100% Human Remy Hair piece set (18 beautiful colours to choose from) + 1x Peak Cap (6 colours to choose from) + 1x other hat of your choice from the HatHair collection.

Does the HatHair combo come assembled?

Yes, all HatHair combos are sent with the hair pieces attached to your choice of peak cap, just pop it on and go. As the pieces are generically cut, they can be attached to any HatHair hat whether it has a pony area or not. All instructions on how to detach and reattach the hair to your second hat choice are supplied with your purchase inside the information leaflet. Contact Kim if further clarification needed.

Are the HatHair combo's different to wigs?

Absolutely! HatHair combo's have been specifically designed to give the appearance of a full head of hair. They are light and comfortable allowing your head to breathe. Doing away with - heavy, hot and itchy alternatives.

How do I attach the hair to the hats?

The hair pieces have been designed to detach and transfer to HatHair's hat collection (Patent pending in New Zealand and Australia). All instructions on how to easily attach the hair pieces to the hat, will be supplied with your purchase in the information leaflet. If further assistance is required please contact Kim.

What is the sizing for HatHair hats?

Hats have been selected to fit most, sizes vary slightly so please refer to the hat descriptions for specifications. In order to measure the size of your head, please refer to the picture below. Whether you have already lost your hair (or not), or just wearing the product as a fashion accessory, all measurements on this website include HatHair's hair attached. If the measurement shown is slightly larger than your head size or you would like to make sure the hat fits securely, we can supply a hat filler. Please contact Kim.

Can I purchase additonal hats or hair pieces?

Yes. Once you have purchased a HatHair combo you become an existing customer. This enables additional hats or hair pieces to be purchased separately by contacting Kim. Please contact Kim.

Do the 'Peak' options change?

Peak Caps will either be linen or cotton depending on the supplier. Other than black and white, the colours may change from time to time.

Do the'second hat options' change?

Yes, we like to provide styles that are not stock standard but relevant to fashion and the seasons, while being enjoyable and comfortable to wear. The options will change from time to time.

Purchase and Delivery info

How much is delivery?

We offer a $10 flat fee NZ wide to deliver your HatHair combo, and we will let you know once we have dispatched.

Can I still purchase a HatHair combo during Covid restrictions?

Yes, absolutely! As there is no physical fitting required all HatHair Combo's can be purchased on this website or through a free consultation on zoom or facetime. Contact Kim

Do you ship internationally?

We can ship internationally. Please contact Kim for more information. Extra shipping fees apply. Any duties or taxes incurred by customs in the country of destination are the responsiblity of the customer/purchaser.

How long will my order take to deliver?

Once payment has been cleared the dispatch and delivery process will commence. If all 3 of your HatHair combo items are in stock we will endeavour to dispatch your HatHair combo within three weeks. However, we do not accept responsibility for late delivery due to external circumstances such as product or freight delays.

If for any reason an item of your HatHair combo is out-of-stock, then we will contact you to let you know the expected delivery date.

Does the Ministry of Health subsidy apply here?

Yes, if you are eligable. Please follow this link to check and apply for your subsidy. Please get in touch if you need help with this.

What is this $15 donation?

We love to give back so a $15 donation per HatHair combo will be given to a registered child cancer or alopecia group. Refer to our HatHair story page.

What is your return policy?

Due to health and hygiene requirements products are non returnable or refundable, so please choose carefully.

How do I pay?

Credit and debit options are available to purchase your HatHair combo. AfterPay is also available. These options are available once items are added to your cart.

Do you have gift cards?

Yes gift cards are available. Minimum purchase of $250 is required. See Shop page.

Styling

Where can I wear HatHair?

Anywhere! HatHair products are designed to be stylish, comfortable and easy to wear in almost every setting. We would advise removing before completely submerging in water!

How do I style my HatHair?

All HatHair hairpieces are long in length and generically cut to allow further styling. We recommend you use a professional hairdresser that has experience with styling wigs. Instructions on how to style are supplied with your purchase in the information leaflet.

Can the hair be straightened or curled?

Yes, as HatHair use 100% human Remy hair, it can be treated as you would your own hair. Instructions are supplied with your purchase in the information leaflet.

What kind of hair is it?

Hathair uses the highest quality real human Remy hair in the industry. Remy means the hair cuticles are aligned to ensure the hair feels silky, smooth and remains knot and tangle free.
